  • Multivariate Statistics
    The course extends the statistical model-building concepts and range of univariate models introduced in.
    Introductory Statistics, focusing on Applied Multivariate Statistical Techniques. Problems in management are large data sets that need to be analysed efficiently.These datasets often include many variables and more advanced multivariate techniques that required for statistical inference.

  • Elite Interviewing
    To introduce research students to elite interviewing in a business and organizational context, equipping them with skills to undertake elite interviews with senior managers and to appreciate the strengths, weaknesses and challenges of the approach.

  • Qualitative Methods
    To introduce students to the variety of qualitative methods currently used within business and management research.
    To introduce the range of factors that impact upon the choice of a particular method, for example practical issues or the epistemological context.
    To provide students with the tools available to enable the appropriate choice of data collection technique for a given research issue.

  • Case Study Methodology
    This course focuses on the methodological underpinnings of case study research and the roles of case studies in different methodological traditions within the diverse fields of business and management. Categorisations of different methodological bases of case studies will be discussed, and the use of theory in case study research will be explored.

  • Action Research
    To introduce the theory of organizational behavior,and to discuss the application of organizational behavior.To improve students research ability of organization behavior, through the theoretical study and practice learning.

  • Survey Design
    This course aims to introduce: the process and issues in designing survey research; principles and techniques for conceptualization of research constructs; principles and techniques for developing measurement scales; important issues and techniques for questionnaire design; issues in web-based survey; fundamental issues and techniques in sampling; important issues in data collection.

  • Data models and decisions
    To Systematically introduce basic principles and general methods of the decision making under uncertainty of characteristics of the statistical methods, decision making under certainty of characteristics of operations research, and the strategic decision of the characteristic of game theory.

  • Mixed Methods
    The aim of this course is to acquaint DBA researchers with the mixed-method research approaches and their application in Business and Management Studies. Particular attention is afforded to combining extensive and intensive research strategies and respectively qualitative and quantitative research methods. Such combinations necessitate awareness of mixed-method theory and epistemic assumptions.
